Appetizer Recipes

Antipasto Skewers.

Ingredients:
Cherry tomatoes
Mozzarella balls
Sliced salami
Sliced pepperoni
Marinated artichoke hearts
Kalamata olives
Fresh basil leaves
Balsamic glaze (optional)
Wooden skewers

Instructions:
Thread a cherry tomato, a mozzarella ball, a slice of salami, a slice of pepperoni, a marinated artichoke heart, a Kalamata olive, and a fresh basil leaf onto each wooden skewer.
Repeat until all the ingredients are used.
Arrange the skewers on a platter.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired.
Serve chilled.

Mini Meatballs with Marinara Sauce.

Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef or a mixture of ground beef and pork
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Marinara sauce for serving

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.

Avocado and Corn Salsa.

Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados, diced
1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and pepper to taste
Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions:
In a bowl, combine diced avocados, corn kernels, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to combine.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
Serve the avocado and corn salsa with tortilla chips for scooping.

Crab Cakes.

Ingredients:
1 pound lump crab meat
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or seafood seasoning)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges and tartar sauce for serving

Instructions:
In a bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small patties.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
Serve the crab cakes with lemon wedges and tartar sauce on the side.

Ingredients:
1 wheel of Brie cheese
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions:
